1940s American Halo Hat

Fab 1940s American felt and knitted velvet halo hat. Large felt brim with turn back and pleating to create curves. The unusual crown is a knitted chenille velvet. It is similar to the one Rita Hayworth wore on her wedding day to Orson Welles (see last pic). 

• It says size 22 but I make it closer to 20.5" on the interior circumference. I am a 22.5" and have worn her as there is a little stretch. But I would suggest a more petite head than mine would suit her.

Good vintage condition. No holes etc steamed and ready to wear.
