1940s Rayon Lounge Wear Robe

Gorgeous 1940s chartreuse (pale green/yellow) rayon lounge gown by Maxan bridal negligees. Dolman sleeve shape and a full skirt with huge pockets. She still has her original belt. There is a long zip front and faux pear button decoration. Pure old Hollywood.

Good vintage condition. This is a stunning gown/dress. I have cool hand washed and steamed her. There are two imperfections to note. On the right shoulder seam there is a small hole that has been invisible meded with interfacing and a little of the original fabric. Also on the left shoulder seam the fabric has a small graze and the fabric has again been reinforced with interfacing to stop the progressing. Still a fabulous wearable item but I have reflected this in the asking price.
