1940s Volup Halter Neck Swimsuit

This is a great late 1940s swimsuit in a white/ivory and black. Scalloped detail on the bust. The halter neck can be worn in a variety of ways. It fastens with a metal zip and a hook and eye. A rare larger curvey beauty. This is very hard to measure. I'm a UK 14/16 and she was still very roomy on me. It has boning all the way down to the hips. 

• Bust 44" stretches to 46" (might get a little more)
• Under bust 36" 
• Waist 36" to 38" 
• Hips 44" to 48" 
• Front centre of the bust to the gusset 24" 

Good vintage condition. This has been well used but still as lots of wear left in her. There is a little fade near the bottom. (I have reflected this in the price). I have replaced the old gusset with a new one made from modern swimsuit lining (see last picture).
