1950s Peasant Blouse

This is a lovely cotton embroidered peasant blouse. It is hand smocked around the cuff and neckline. From the construction and material, I believe this dates from the late  1950s. Rarer long sleeved version too. No stretch. The cotton is a medium weight.

Good vintage condition. Hand washed, steamed and ready to wear. There is a slight yellow hue to the armpits. This is faint and can't be seen when worn (see last pictures).
