Early 1940s Lilac Crepe Gown

Amazing early 1940s Marshall and Snelgrove gown. Very flattering shape with a gathered front three quarter sleeves and a full skirt. The sash belt is stunning. It is covered in jewel like cabochon and soutache work. This would of been a highly desirable piece. Some of their stunning clothing are currently in the V&A museum collection

Good vintage condition. This is a gorgeous gown. The belt has all its embellishments. There is a faint mark on the right shoulder and a faint mark on the armpit. (see last two pictures). There are no holes, smells.
