Beautiful late 1930s oatmeal/tan coat from Caldaric of Frome. This is a very elegant cut with the most fantastic pleating on the skirt back which gives it an almost Edwardian feel. She fastens with three Celluloid buttons. Crepe lined in peach. Lots of seam topstitch details. The photographs are not doing her justice. As always with a coat, please remember you would need to be a little smaller than the bust/waist measurements listed below.
- Bust 39/40"
- Waist up to 32"
- Hips 42" (though more if pleats are open)
- Shoulders 16"
- Shoulder to waist 15.5"/16"
- Sleeve length 23"
- Sleeve top 14"
- Wrist 9"
- Coat length 45"
Good vintage condition. Lovely ready to wear coat. There is a small moth hole on the up back and someone has reinforced the right pocket. Both very small (see pictures). The crepe lining as some old armpit stains but no smells. These imperfections have been reflected in the asking price.
*Please be aware that vintage items are worn and have age so are never modern standards of perfection.
*Please note that some packaging may be recycled
